I can't tell you how glad I am that this was recorded since I tried to join through Eventbrite (had my ticket etc), and for some reason it wouldn't let me in. And I am usually pretty good at these things. I don't know what happened but it was probably on my end. This was just such a wonderful gathering and reading of Johns latest work. Thank you Crocus Books for publishing "So". John, there is something about your writing that always moves me no end. I think a lot of why was talked about here today. But I find the strength of your directness in your work so powerful. And it is both gentle and real at the same time. It amazes me what goes into a creation like this since on the receiving end it feels so authentic open and natural. You really have a gift, but I guess a gift and decades of practice is what really makes your work shine. I have read many of your 8 "offspring" and none of them are "one and done" kinds of things. They all warrant re-reads. I have already purchased "So" from here in the US. It sounds like there is no telling when I will receive it... that's fine however. Peter, you are a jewel. I so enjoyed listening to the two of you communicate unedited! I can feel the love there... even on a replay. As a person of the global majority myself, I am especially happy to see some of the team that put this project together. While I am a professional in another creative industry (the music business), I can relate to the ego and self importance swarming around that make honest heart felt work so difficult to reach the majority of people and that's one of the reasons I like to support things like this. Thank you for getting this out there. I have never ever been a "fan" kind of person (with maybe the exception of Stevie Wonder haha) but I find myself one of this man born John Siddique. He inspires so many by making the choice to be here these extra years. And hey... perhaps it is Peter where John learned to offer places of support for other creatives, since this was offered to him? John has a wonderful ability to show people to themselves. With his little 'tap on the shoulder' I have found creative expression coming out of myself that I didn't even know was there. I think of it as "heart art" since it comes from spirit. So congratulations... thank you for this beautiful reading and everyone for this book release. John, I say it often, but I feel blessed to know you and call you friend. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hi Nora, Heena here. We do have copies in our archive, but since the lockdown it's not so easy for people to come and look at them! I'm hoping to digitise them and put them online, but this might be slow going at the moment, so I'm doing these videos just as a way of sharing some of it.
